“May He Rest In Peace”

James Stanton, born on December 20th, 1970. James faced life’s challenges head-on, starting with the loss of his father before he was even born. Despite a rough start, he worked hard and played hard. Unfortunately, the playing hard led him into a dark world of drugs. But James was a fighter. He pulled himself out of that darkness and made a real go of life.

Tragedy struck again with the heartbreaking loss of his only son to leukemia. This would be a heavy burden for anyone to bear. James’s journey to get his life back on track was filled with detours, but through it all, his kindness never wavered. He was the type of person who would give you the coat off his back if you needed it. No one was more kind-hearted or more giving of their time to friends in need than James.

We love you, Bro. We hope you are pain-free and having a good time up there. Rest in peace, James

  1. On my 16th birthday, my big brother James was working away and I was really sad he wouldn’t get home for my party. He phoned me wishing me happy birthday and to enjoy my party.
A couple of hours into my party and there’s a knock on the door, mam told me to answer it, might be someone to wish me happy birthday – I opened the door and James was stood there! ‘You didn’t think I would miss your party did you sis?’
I hugged him so tight and cried my eyes out with happiness. He’d drove for hours to be there, and it was the best gift I received that year. One of the nicest memories and happiest moments of my life. Will never forget it. Xx

  2. James may of had his ups and downs don’t we all. I remember when we used to go out on a Saturday night get drunk and I would ending up stopping at Lynn and daves. She would say when she got up this is not a hotel r.i.p. pecker

  3. Miss you bro!. I remember the days when I would come over to your place to watch our Jordan and Leanne while you went for a night out. All those night helped me save to buy my first electric guitar!. And what about the time the old fella got stuck on the roof putting a tv aerial up, you had to come round with us ladders to get him down!. Just a couple of stand out memories there. You didn’t always have life easy, but you were still our brother James and loved by us all. I hope wherever you are now, that your pain free and happy!,

    God bless James! X X 🌹
